The Thinque - Anders Sorman-Nilsson Prize for Leadership was established by a former student who is involved in improving student leadership at Canberra Grammar School. The recipient is the School Captain of Canberra Grammar School 2007.
Anders Sorman-Nilsson, founder of Sydney based NLP trainers and NLP corporate training company Thinque, is developing new and innovative ways with which to help youth today improve their leadership and communication skills. The prize is one of the avenues through which Thinque wants to help today\'s youth.
The Thinque prize goes beyond the traditional book vouchers for personal development and leadership: it includes a generous cheque to be donated to the winner\'s chosen charity, one year of mentoring and coaching as well as a $5000 Scholarship to attend Thinque\'s various Leadership, Communication, Interpersonal Dynamics, Educational Results Coaching and NLP courses in 2007. As such, the prize is different from other prizes as it provides on-going support for the recipient throughout the year. Additionally, in the spirit of Thinque, the recipient of the prize will be encouraged influence his school and the wider community with the support the Thinque - Anders Sorman-Nilsson Prize for Leadership provides.
